School Council

Pupil voice is important in our school as we encourage the development of pupils' independence and responsibility.  Our School Council comprises two elected representatives chosen by each class.  Regular meetings are held with a teacher to discuss children's ideas and responses to future school projects and plans.  Recently, the School Council led our campaign to become a Fair Trade school through organising a whole school Fair Trade awareness week.  Events included a Banana Fun Run, designing cakes to celebrate the 20th birthday of this charity and we had great fun testing our knowledge in a Fair Trade quiz.  We are delighted to announce we are now a Fair Active school.
