Christmas 2021

Sadly, we can't invite everyone to our Christmas performances this year.  Places are extremely limited, but we will be posting video and photos on this page over the course of the final week of term for everyone to enjoy.

We have permission to share the photos and videos that appear on this page on our website. However, we ask that you do not download them, or share them in a way that could lead them to be published on social media - this is important to some of our families and helps keep our children safe.    We are sharing our performances in this way this year because we know that there are many family members and friends who couldn’t attend but would have wanted to. Thank you to all our families for your permission to share these images and videos.

Nativity - RBW, 1P and 2ML

RBW, 1P & 2ML are proud to present their performance of 'Born in a barn'. There's a good deal of commotion but plenty of excitement in a Bethlehem stable, when the animals realise there's a baby in their barn.

The cows, sheep, pigs, cat and cockerel all learn about their special guest from the donkey that brought him and the guests that follow. As more and more visitors arrive to greet the new king, the animals slowly realise what a privilege it is to share their home with such an important baby.

A big THANK YOU to everyone for making it possible to host our Nativity this year:

Holy Trinity Parish Church, Exmouth for allowing us to use the Church;

Families for providing costumes, rehearsing lines and encouraging your children to sing, dance and enjoy it;

Our amazing staff team for such a super production mid-pandemic (which really did make rehearsing very difficult).

We hope you enjoy the film.

Orchestra, Flutes and Clarinets

We have two videos to share as we had different performances.

We’re very proud of everyone, particularly as playing together has been so disrupted over the past two years.  These pieces have only been played since the middle of November!  Well done everyone!

Christmas Production - Key Stage 2 - 3S, 4E, 5J and 6C.

Because we couldn’t get together in pre-pandemic ways, this year each class has created their own section of the Nativity and we chose songs to weave it all together. This has resulted in an eclectic mix of traditional favourites alongside modern renditions!

Children in Year 3, who missed out on last year’s Nativity roles, are able to perform as the Holy Family.  Other classes have enjoyed re-telling the story of the first Christmas in different ways.  Would the Angels really have expected to announce the Good News to a ‘bunch of shepherds? What would a relatively modern Herod have been like? And if you could gather a group of famous people from through history, what would their Christmas really be like?

We hope to be able to post a film here soon.

We hope you enjoy our Key Stage 2 Christmas Performance.  It was only possible to actually get together to perform it and we’re very sorry we weren’t able to invite many people to see it.
