The Beacon Pre School
We are delighted to have established our wonderful pre-school in site at The Beacon C of E Primary School. We now take children from the term after they turn 2 and even run holiday club in Partnership with Primary Sports and Education. Hopefully, this will make the childcare juggle a little easier for parents with children at different settings.
Childcare news:
From 12 May 2025, all eligible working parents of children who will be 9 months old before 1 September can apply to access up to 30 hours of funded childcare a week, saving them up to £7,500 a year per child. Currently, in England, 3-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of free early education and childcare per week, for 38 weeks of the year. Working parents may also be eligible for an additional 15 hours, bringing the total to 30 hours per week. This extended entitlement is available for children aged 3 and 4. In September 2025, eligible working parents in England can receive 30 hours of free childcare for their children aged 9 months to 4 years.
