Class Letter Spring 2023

Topic

This term our topic is Frozen Kingdom. Wrap up well and settle by the fire as your child learns about the planet’s coldest lands. We will explore the vast wilds and hostile territories of the polar regions, researching what makes these lands incredibly beautiful, yet often deadly. Check out some of the home learning activities on this page!

PE

This half term, Year 6 will have PE with Mr Troman on a Friday. Your child will need to come to school in their PE uniform. This consists of a yellow T-shirt, blue shorts and trainers/plimsolls. Warmer jogging bottoms / a jumper will be helpful when the colder weather arrives as we will still be outdoors.

Maths Resources

Reading

We are highly keen to encourage children’s reading for pleasure and enjoyment. As part of our school provision, children will have a school library book. This should come to and from school daily for the children to read and enjoy. Please share this reading with them and foster their love of reading.
