Phonics

Here is your phonics for the week. I have created one PowerPoint and it have been divided into each day, one sound per day!

Here is a PowerPoint that can be used as a time filler, just to give phonics an extra boost.

Literacy

We are starting a new book in literacy called 'could a penguin ride a bike?' I will upload scanned pictures of the book so you are able to share at home.

Our new book!

Could a penguin ride a bike?

Have a read through this book, to help you with Thursday literacy!

Tuesday Literacy

Can you write questions that might help you find out more information about the animals?

Thursday Literacy

Can you create a fact file, using information about the penguin from the book.

Friday Literacy

Have a read through 'could a penguin ride a bike?' discuss the different questions that are being asked. How do we know it is a question. No need to write anything down, a discussion about the book will be very valuable towards next weeks learning

Math's

In math's, we will be learning to count to 20 and write our numbers up to 20. This is a new topic, but I'm sure the children will be fab!

Here is the math's for the week, it has been divided into days.

Wednesday Math's

Thursday math's

Friday math's

This will help to write numbers to 20

Tuesday Topic

This term our topic is 'The Enchanted Forest'

To start we are looking at the different types of trees. read through this PowerPoint and have a go at sorting the leaves.
