Maths
We have been working on our addition skills and adding numbers up to 10. We have been using number lines, cubes and our fingers to help us!
Here is a worksheet using a tens frame, to create addition sentences, if you get stuck, use the number line to help you!

Phonics
In phonics we are moving onto phase 5, this is looking at alternative sounds. Todays sound is 'ou' which is found in words such as 'found, sound, shout.' The children will have learnt the 'ow' phoneme. These sound the same, but we write them differently.
Here is a powerpoint you can work through to help with the new 'ou' phoneme and a worksheet to do once completed.
If you have time, have a go on phonics play, practicing the new sound.
Literacy

Here is a story map of Jack and the Beanstalk. You can either print it and cut and stick, or draw your own. Once you have done this, create your own actions, to help remember the story. We would love to see your acting!
Topic
This term our topic is splendid skies. Your children will be able to tell you all about the different seasons and the weather that comes with them.
Here is a nice activity they can do, creating a seasons wheel. Can you show me the difference between each season?
