Coronavirus & Phased Re-opening of School

In May we posted three surveys to gather information from the three different categories of children (children of a key worker, Children with EHCP, and anyone else who doesn't fit in to the previous categories) in order to plan for a phased reopening.

Thank you to everyone who completed the relevant survey, we are really pleased that we have been able to safely accommodate so many children in line with government guidelines and are looking forward to the day we are able to open the school to all our pupils. If you haven't completed a survey and would like your child to return to school, please get in touch via email to admin@beacon-ce-primary.devon sch.uk as the surveys are now closed.  Whilst we may not be able to offer a place as yet, circumstances do change and we are regularly looking to see how we can help.

We will keep our families informed through the School Jotter App (please make sure notifications are enabled) and by email.   All our newsletters and updates are available on the Newsletters page of our website.

Mental health and well-being - taking care of yourself and your family

The thought of facing a long time without our usual routines is daunting.

Make sure you set a routine for your day. We know children thrive on routine - they are used to having a daily routine in school and it will help you at home to do the same.
